watched these kids playing ball for a bit. they were adorable. they couldn’t even hit the backboard but that didn’t stop them from playing a very competitive game.

i overwatered my elephant ear plant, shut every window in my apartment and left for a week. i didn’t take into account how humid it had been lately and when i got back the soil had a nice fuzz growing on it and HUGE mushrooms shooting up not only out of the top but also out from under the pot. oops.

the grand ol’ divine lorraine hotel at broad and fairmount. once a display or architectural greatness. now an eyesore in a blighted neighborhood.

decided to cook some pasta sauce so i broke out the cuisinart to puree some tomatoes. blade slipped and stuck hard in the floor missing my foot by millimeters. woulda been a much different photo if it hadn’t.
